I have walked this area since I was 12 years old and never get tired of the scenery. This is the River Avon between the Lock Keeper Pub at Keynsham and the Chequers Pub at Hanham.
For those of you who don’t yet know I had a fall whilst out taking photos at Vassals Park down by the river by Frenchay bridge.
I’m writing this as it could easily have happened to anyone.
I fell due to the ground being dry and dusty. Just slipped on a stone/rock and twisted my ankle quite badly.
It is a complex break and I might have to have surgery to ensure the bones aren’t aligned.
I’m actually bringing it up on our blog as my camera would have been severely damaged if it wasn’t for the fact I decided to put a cage on it.
