First attempt at Raw Burst (Canon R6 Mk II)
Not the best of results, but take it from me, it's not that easy...
For those who are not familiar with Raw Burst, the camera continually stores multiple shots, typically 15 - 25, in a buffer when the shutter is half pressed. When you decide you want the shot, you fully press the shutter and multiple shots are taken. This ensures you get the photo you require.
The downside is you can only see the photos in Canons DPP (Digital Photo Professional) software with Canon. Once you choose the photo/photos, you can edit them in Photoshop.
Neil - is that also what is known as 'Pre-Capture'? I don't know for sure but recall reading something on Pre-capture likely to do with Nikon cameras of course but it sounds as though it might be the same thing.
